First I would like to say thank you for visiting my photoblog! I would like to introduce myself as Kristen Wozniak. Photography has been a hobby of mine for a number of years now. I started with a simple point-and-shoot camera and eventually felt that it was too easy and not very challenging for me. I wanted to have more control over my images, so I saved up my money and bought my first SLR digital. I fell in love with photography even more and recently saved up to buy myself a new wide angle lens that allows me to capture different perspectives of the beauty in life. I hope to continue in broadening my lens horizons in the future! I chose "capturedoistersphotograghy" as my site name and I am sure many of you wonder what captured oisters really has to do with photos. Well it comes from the saying "The world is your oyster."
The phrase means all the pleasures and opportunities of life are open to someone because he/she is young, rich, handsome/beautiful, successful, etc. Shakespeare invented or popularized this expression. Well I may not be rich, but I still feel that pleasures and opportunities of life are open to me. My camera is basically attached to my hip when I am wandering around everywhere and anywhere, hoping to find a cool or intriguing shot of just about anything. I like to think I can capture moments into a beautiful image of places or things that I enjoy and see. I take the initiative to go out and explore different places that are accessible to me, which makes me feel that the world really is my oyster. Also, you'll notice that oisters is spelled incorrectly. Don't worry I know my spelling! I chose that as an alternative, just for a little personalization.
I hope you enjoy my photo collection that I present in my photoblog and please feel free to leave comments on photos whether it is constructive criticism or your opinions. I am very open and interested to hear what others have to say because it allows me to learn more and grow as a photographer!
Cheers,
Kristen Wozniak
